Supporting Community Health & Wellness

Since 2020, Asian Health & Service Center (AHSC) has continued adapting services to meet the evolving needs of our diverse communities across the Portland Metro region. Through culturally and linguistically responsive programs, AHSC remains committed to supporting community health, wellness, connection, and access to essential resources.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, AHSC rapidly expanded outreach efforts to support older adults, families, and community members who faced increased isolation and barriers to care. Through multilingual Community Health Workers and community outreach teams, AHSC helped thousands of individuals access health information, emotional support, food assistance, wellness resources, and connections to vital services

Today, AHSC continues to provide culturally responsive health education, behavioral health support, community wellness programs, outreach services, and assistance navigating healthcare and social service systems. AHSC also continues promoting health equity by helping community members access vaccinations, preventive care, and trusted health information in their preferred languages.
