AHSC’s trained multilingual, multicultural certified Assisters can help individuals and families navigate through the options and apply for health insurance coverage. Options include:
Oregon Health Plan (OHP)
OHP is Oregon’s Medicaid program. It provides free coverage for people in Oregon who meet eligibility criteria. AHSC’s OHP assisters have been trained and certified to provide information and health navigation support. Also help individuals and families apply or renew for Oregon Health Plan (OHP) through the Integrated Eligibility ONE system.
Healthier Oregon
Starting July 1, 2023, CWM members will move from emergency health coverage to full Oregon Health Plan (OHP) benefits! People of any age or immigration status may be eligible for full OHP benefits as of July 1, 2023. Marketplace (FFM)
Individual health plans, also called private health coverage, are available through the Marketplace and include a comprehensive set of essential health benefits and financial assistance is also available. There are many different levels or tiers of health plans such as Bronze or Silver plan. Open enrollment period begins on November 1st and there is also a special enrollment period available if you have any qualifying life changes such as a move or loss of health coverage. AHSC’s trained and certified assisters are here to provide information, health navigation and application assistance for new and renewals through the Marketplace (FFM) system.
Reproductive Health Program
The Reproductive Health Program works with network clinics to offer free or low-cost reproductive health services, such as: breast and cervical exams, pregnancy tests, birth control, STI screenings, or postpartum care. Regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability, or immigration status, people can access quality services at Reproductive Health Program network clinics. Services also available for youth and men.
Kaiser Community Health Coverage program
For individuals and families who need health coverage but do not qualify for OHP or Marketplace, Kaiser is offering health coverage for individuals who do not have access to any other health coverage. Partnering with Project Access NOW, AHSC assisters are helping clients to enroll for coverage. Please call us for more information.
