Health Navigation and Enrollment Assistance

AHSC’s trained multilingual, multicultural certified Assisters can help individuals and families navigate through the options and apply for health coverage.

Oregon Health Plan (OHP)

The Oregon Health Plan (OHP) is Oregon’s Medicaid or medical assistance program, which provides health care coverage for people living in Oregon. AHSC’s OHP assisters have been trained and certified to provide information and health navigation support. We also help individuals and families renew or apply for the Oregon Health Plan (OHP) through the Integrated Eligibility ONE system.

• Healthier Oregon program: People of any age or immigration status may qualify for full Oregon Health Plan (OHP) benefits. As of July 1, 2023, people of all ages who meet income and other criteria qualify for full OHP benefits and other services and supports, no matter their immigration status. 

Marketplace

Individual health plans, also called private health coverage, are available through the Marketplace and include a comprehensive set of essential health benefits and financial assistance is also available. There are many different levels or tiers of health plans such as Bronze or Silver plan. Open enrollment period begins on November 1st and there is also a special enrollment period available if you have any qualifying life changes such as a move or loss of health coverage. AHSC’s trained and certified assisters are here to provide information, health navigation and application assistance for new and renewals through the Marketplace system.

Reproductive Health Program

The Reproductive Health Program works with network clinics to offer free or low-cost reproductive health services, such as breast and cervical exams, pregnancy tests, birth control, STI screenings, or postpartum care. Regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability, or immigration status, people can access quality services at Reproductive Health Program network clinics. Services also available for youth and men.
